Microgreens CSA (Community Supported Agriculture)

  CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. It is a way for consumers to connect directly with farmers. A microgreens CSA allows you to prepay (with a little discount over regular retail) for a weekly supply of microgreens for a set amount of time.  This will allow you to not have to rush to the farmers market each week to make sure you get the microgreens you want.  

 The registration for the winter 2024 CSA is closed

Each Microgreens CSA share gets you one  retail pack of microgreens each week during the CSA timeframe.  Signing up for the CSA gets you a 5% discount off the retail microgreens price.  

The winter Microgreens CSA will start Saturday January 12th and go through March 30th for a total of 12 weeks.  Pick up will be Saturdays at the South Durham Farmers Market.

The share options and prices are as follows:

• Sunflower $57
• cilantro $34.20
• Basil $34.20
• Farmers choice $57 (a different variety each week.  Could be any of the varieties we sell including sunflower, pea shoot, black garbanzo, buckwheat, broccoli, mustard, radish, spicy salad, spicy rainbow, smoothie mix, kale or radish.  This option allows you to try a  wide variety of microgreens

 Please note there are no make up days, if you are unable to pick up your microgreens on pickup day, you can designate someone else to pick up for you, or you can notify us ahead of time and we will donate your share for that week to a local food bank.
