Microgreens

What are Microgreens?

Microgreens are baby plants that have been grown from seed to right around when the first true leaves appear. They have more concentrated nutrients than mature greens and are a great source of antioxidants.

How we grow

We have expanded our grow area and are now able to grow a much larger volume for local restaurants. We grow our microgreens in an OMRI Listed® potting mix (Which means it is certified organic). Whenever possible we use organic seeds, and we package the microgreens in recyclable/compostable plant based plastic containers.

If you are a chef in the Durham area, and would like to include locally grown microgreens in your menu items, we would love to hear from you and bring you some samples to try. We currently grow and keep seed in stock. Microgreens can be pre-cut or ordered by the tray (you cut as you need them)
